Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026. This page explains what data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have.

Who we are

This policy is published by ChinChin Bar Catering (chinchinevents.com) — the trading name under which Vladyslav Tomchuk operates in Barcelona, Spain, tax ID (NIF/NIE): ESY6450133G.

For any question about how we process personal data, contact info@chinchinevents.com.

What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process the following categories of data:

  • Enquiry form data: name, email and message (required fields), plus phone, event type, service, guest count and location if you fill them in.
  • Analytics data — only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner: pages viewed, an approximate referral source, and interaction with Google Ads (via Google Analytics and Google Ads).
  • Anonymous site performance statistics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) — no cookies, not tied to any individual, collected at all times.

Why we process this data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal for your event.
  • With your consent, to understand how visitors use the site and measure the performance of our Google Ads campaigns.

Legal basis for processing

We process data on the following legal bases (GDPR Art. 6):

  • Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — the checkbox on the enquiry form, and analytics/advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time; this doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
  • Pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)) — handling the quote request as part of a business enquiry you initiated yourself.

Who we share data with

We only share data with service providers that help us run the site, and only to the extent they need it. We don't sell your data or pass it to other parties for their own marketing purposes:

  • Titan Email — the email provider that delivers enquiry-form submissions to our team.
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — only if you accepted analytics cookies in the banner.
  • Vercel — site hosting and anonymous performance statistics.

International data transfers

Google and Vercel may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (e.g. the US). In those cases they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognised data-protection safeguards.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request, plus up to 24 months after our last contact in case you get back in touch. A longer period applies only where the law requires it — for example, booking records needed for accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict processing.
  • Port your data to another controller.
  • Object to processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es) if you believe your rights have been infringed.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@chinchinevents.com.

Cookies

The site doesn't load any analytics or advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) until you click "Accept" in the banner at the bottom of the screen. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights run without cookies at all times and don't require consent. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the banner will appear again.

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if the set of tools used on the site changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
